E-bike: AG2R La Mondiale launches long-term rental offer

The offering, launched by AG2R La Mondiale under the name "Roulons Vélo", is designed to facilitate the practice of electric bike riding.

Acquisition methods are changing ... While we already rent out our smartphones and cars, why not do the same with our e-bikes. This is a reflection of the joint work of AG2R La Mondiale, which is launching a proposal that combines a long-term e-bike rental with a range of insurance and assistance services.

Between classic and electric bicycles, AG2R offers about 300 links on a site dedicated to the operation and the possibility of supporting the acquisition of his bike using various equipment: helmet, GPS, smartphone holder, anti-theft device, etc.

In the field of electric bikes, the choice remains limited as there are only four brands available: Easybike, Matra, O2Feel and Ushuaïa. In terms of costs, offers start at €22.90 per month for entry-level models and can go up to €56.70 per month for Matra's i-Step Phantom, while the electric VTC offered €2799 per purchase. As is often the case with offers of this type, a first rental is required – usually equivalent to 10% of the value of the bike.

Terms of participation from 12 to 48 months. An e-bike delivered assembled and paid for at the customer's home can be changed at any time (of course, for a fee). At the end of the lease, a buyout offer will be made.
