Electric bicycles for the European Parliament

In Brussels, MEPs will soon begin riding electric bicycles. The Czech company Citybikes has just won a tender announced by the European Parliament.

If we don't know how many e-bikes CityBikes will have to supply, we know the model name. It will be Kolos N ° 3, equipped with an 250W 8Fun electric motor located in the front wheel hub and a 36V-10Ah lithium-ion battery located under the trunk. White bicycles will be marked with the parliament logo.

Little known in France and specializing in city and electric bikes, CityBikes has been around for ten years. “When we started our business in 2006, the city bike segment was completely clean and we looked almost like the originals,” recalls Martin Riha, one of the co-founders of Citybikes.
