| Some of the more modern ones are now made with plastic bodies and handles, but with metal blades. This makes them lighter and less tiring for extended use. They are more flexible than steel trowels and also come with interchangeable blades in a variety of sizes. | |
Sponge for plaster | ||
 | A can be used instead of a trowel to keep the wall moist while plastering and also to clean grout. However, you can't apply the same amount of pressure to flatten and flatten a wall as you would with a sponge trowel. | |
