Are there alternatives to tap receivers?

If you know that a damaged seat is the cause of the drip, there are three alternatives to reinstalling the faucet. These include: adding a seat liner, replacing the seat, or replacing the entire faucet. However, because it is readily available, cheap, and effective, reseating is the most commonly used method.

seat lining

Are there alternatives to tap receivers? This is a rubber part that is superimposed on the original seat; acts as a new seat or seat cover; so that the water does not pass. The seat pads also require replacement washer. To do this, you will need a washer replacement kit, which includes: seat pad (white), replacement washer (red) and installation tool (green). They are quite rare and are often considered not very effective because they only mask the problem and can wear out quickly on their own.

Seat replacement

Replacing the tap

Are there alternatives to tap receivers? As a last resort, you may need to replace the entire faucet (and then the seat). This is a more expensive but long term solution. However, it can be difficult to find a faucet that matches the original, and this may mean that all the faucets in the room need to be replaced.
