EV Cup (Electric Vehicle Cup): electric car racing

A warning to motorsport fans; A new generation of cars is coming to motorsport. After the Formula 1 rally, Moto GP, we now have to rely on a new motorsport federation called: «EV CUP»... No, you are not dreaming, electric cars are also invading motorsport.

EV CUP, this new federation, is a pioneer in this field. They are working closely with the best manufacturers to create a new category of racing cars that can compete on Europe's largest circuits.

The new company EEVRC was created to introduce this new concept and to encourage manufacturers to invest in this promising sector. This company aims to be a bit of a regulator of this federation. It will act like FIFA for football.

As far as the Moto GP is concerned, races will be divided into three categories very instinctively. In the sport and city categories, there will be racing cars specially designed for the needs of racing. The third will mostly have cars that are still in the prototype stage.

From 2010, advertising races will be held in England and in various parts of Europe. The lucky ones will get a feel for what to expect and have a sensational experience.

In 2011 alone, the EV CUP planned to hold six races on the most famous tracks in Europe. If you live in England, France or even Germany, be aware that the first races will take place on different tracks of these countries. However, this information should be taken conditionally.

The goal is also to change the way these cars are viewed. When you think of an electric car, you don't necessarily think of a racing car that moves at breakneck speed. More likely to come to mind is a car accelerating to 50 km / h.

EV CUP could be an event not to be missed over the next few years because those behind this project have experience in their respective fields. Since this is a new project, they will introduce some new rules and emphasize safety. But don't worry, there will be a show!
