F1 Trac

This is a dedicated skid corrector (ESP) in combination with E-Diff traction control developed by Ferrari for its high-performance vehicles. The system that stabilizes the trajectory, F1-Trac, is also based on the experience of Formula 1 cars and allows even the less experienced driver to push the car to its limits in terms of performance and safety when cornering.

Introduced as a world premiere on road cars with the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, it is faster and more precise than traditional steering and allows you to delay and minimize the engine torque adjustments necessary to maintain the desired trajectory. The system is able to estimate the maximum available grip by continuously monitoring the relative wheel speeds.

The combination of E-Diff and F1-Trac, compared to traditional traction and stability control, results in a 40% increase in acceleration out of corners.
