Facebook and virtual reality

Facebook admitted that it is working on applications that use virtual reality. Chris, chief product manager of the social media platform, spoke about the company's plans during the Code/Media conference. According to him, virtual reality will be another extension of the offer of the popular social network, where you can share, among other things, photos and videos.

It is not yet known how the applications prepared by Facebook developers will work. Moreover, it is not known whether users of the social network can create this type of content. The launch date of these services is also unknown. Cox explained this by saying that virtual reality would be a logical extension of the development of the user experience of the website, which can share "thoughts, photos and videos, and with the help of virtual reality will be able to send a larger picture."
