Fiat E-Ducato will be fully electrified

Fiat demonstrated a working version of the Ducato electric truck.

Model E will be presented to the general public this year, and will go on sale next year. The car will be equipped with an electric motor of 122 hp. The manufacturer offers two types of batteries: 47 kW and 79 kW. Without recharging, the car will be able to drive 220 km and 360 km, depending on the battery capacity.

Outside, the electric van is almost indistinguishable from the usual van with ICE. The battery charging port is located in place of the fuel tank cap. It is expected that the dashboard will be updated or an additional screen will be installed on which the parameters of the electrical system will be displayed.

It is known that the creation of electric versions of the vans was announced by Daimler, who introduced the eVito and eSprinter minibuses.
