It's no secret that the time with MV Agusta is exciting for you. It's just an Italian two-wheeled Maseratti, Ferrari or Lamborghini, whatever you want. The charm of three-cylinder beauty, what a beauty, diva, also captured me. You know, there is not much romance in the history of the Italian manufactory. A life story full of ups and downs, even, say, to whom, is not romantic. But there is a lot of passion in this story. The passion that drove the brand up to 75 championships won and almost 300 Grand Prix victories.

About motorsport addiction

Romance is absolutely not needed here, passion is important. MV Agusta Turismo Veloce is a reflection of the female in the Playboy mirror. A real "playboy" is really not up to romance. To win, he must be determined, fast, accurate, firm where he needs to be, and also resourceful. It does not hurt if it looks good, universality is desirable, and most importantly, make it available only to the elite. All this Turismo Veloce. Therefore, after a week spent with such a lady, a person feels great, almost a "playboy". And no, I'm not a narcissistic jerk. If you don't believe me, try it. If you're a true gas fumes fan, they'll take you over too.

The Turismo Veloce is far from the top performance in its class. But it's like four wheels. Many Maseratti or Ferrari, as the locals say, “sleep” every production M, RS or AMG. But never in the realm of feelings and pleasure.

A real lady: sleek and wild when needed

As befits a diva, Turismo Veloce also knows how to behave decently. She always impresses with her good looks, is culturally driven and willing, secretly teasing and wild when needed. However, until you cast the devil out of him, neglected glass. With such a top-notch sporty character, the soundstage should have been more pronounced right from the start. But over time, you get used to the fact that Tursimo Velose is a quiet woman, she has a beautiful voice, and she screams only when the throttle is turned towards the end.

It may sound a little presumptuous, but the Turismo Veloce is one of them. the most non-standard MV Agusta. While the brand has always made distinctively sporty motorcycles, sporty travelers were something unimaginable. Therefore, the designers faced a big task. It took a tremendous investment of knowledge, experience and ingenuity to make an extremely fast sports traveler who would never be outdone by other models. In terms of ride quality, I can confidently say that the Turismo Veloce with the basic equipment is one of the most balanced, most controllable and stable bikes on the market. It cuts into the bend just like a scalpel, and with at least the same precision, it also slows down.

New character evolution and increased service interval

Earlier I wrote that Turismo Veloce is not at the highest level in its class in terms of performance, but it is important to know that MV Agusta decided this on its own. The eight hundred cubic feet three-cylinder engine in the version designed specifically for this model is very different from the others in this house. The priority is not exceptional power, but the optimal distribution of usable power on the road. Compared to the other, more helical versions, the torque has increased by over 20 percent, while the engine is spinning 2.100 rpm slower. It's not just about electronics, they've been heavily involved with camshafts, pistons, intake and exhaust systems, so those of you who have ridden these bikes in the past should know that the Turismo Veloce is a hundred times smoother and more comfortable on the road. ... All this evolution that the three-cylinder engine has undergone has also positively influenced the factory-set service interval, which is now more than twice as long (previously 6.000 km, now 15.000 km).

Feature: MV Agusta Turismo Veloce (2017) As far as the engine is concerned, it is correct that in addition to mechanical innovation, we also say something in the area of electronics. This is where the Turismo Veloce shines. The gearbox is now also standard. with electronic lifting and lowering system... We are, of course, talking about the "quickshifter", which turned out to be one of the best that I have ever tried on the test. In truth, the only thing I was concerned about was the rather long gear shift travel, which would probably have been a little less annoying if I had been wearing well-protected motorcycle shoes all the time.

The engine electronics allows the most extensive engine settings to be combined. The driver can adjust the throttle lever response in three stages, and three main engine programs are available. All 110 "horsepower" are available in the "Sports" folder, only 90 "horsepower" in the Turismo, and the most radical impact on engine power comes from the choice of the Rain program, in which 80 "horsepower" is allocated to the rear wheel. There is a fourth folder in which the driver sets parameters such as power and torque curve, engine settings, speed limiter settings, engine braking, engine responsiveness and of course the rear wheel anti-slip system (8 levels). Personally, I like so many levels of traction control, but in this particular case it is clear to me that when driving in the first two stages, the rear tire will be quickly taken over by the devil. how the back slides so nicelybecome addicted to it.

Shines even under armor

Continuing with modernity, it would be correct to mention that the Turismo Veloce already has quite a wealth of equipment as standard, and the new items include LED headlights, the latest Bosch ABS, a Bluetooth interface that allows you to connect to nine different devices. 2 USB ports and XNUMX outlets to power electrical appliances that can accompany you on a trip, and to automatically switch between dim and high beam. The TFT color screen is also completely new, which is above all beautiful to look at and also very transparent in terms of basic information. Menu access is relatively quick and easy, but while driving requires too much driver attention to be rated “excellent”. Despite the beautiful graphics of the screen, I missed the information about the air temperature, but on MV Agusta it is clearly whistled, because no one is so crazy that such a beautiful motorcycle starts in snow and mud.

The Turismo Veloce test was basic, and a Lusso model is also available, which boasts a partially active suspension, side housings, heated arms, a center stand and an integrated GPS sensor (surcharge 2.800 euros). It can collect route data, warn of obstacles and prepare the driver to save fuel. By the way, in the test we recorded an average consumption of 6 liters per hundred kilometers, and without any problems the trip computer showed a slightly lower consumption when driving slowly.

Another area that seems to be completely controlled in the MV Agusta is ergonomics. The Turismo Veloce feels great. All joints on all limbs are bent at the right angle, the width between the legs is suitable, the mirrors are in the right place, the seat is not only beautiful, but also comfortable and stiff enough, the wind protection is modest, but very easy when driving, and there are two small, conditionally boxes used.

About money…

It's obvious that the Turismo Veloce is a motorcycle diva, so don't go overboard with the price. However, a little less than seventeen thousand is required from the company "Autocentre Šubelj doo", which this year became the official dealer of MV Agusta in Slovenia. Judging by the Turismo Veloce test, they know what they are doing there, so for this money they will give you a perfectly prepared and tuned motorcycle that in ten years or more will certainly attract the eyes of admiration and envy.

The MV Agusta Turismo Veloce is a motorcycle that evokes emotions. After the initial flirting, you'll quickly catch up with her and indulge your passions as you drive slowly across a lake, winding serpentines, or highways. And there's nothing wrong with just decorating your garage.
