Over the past two years, the VW plant in Poznań has undergone major changes: firstly, the company has been consolidated through the reconstruction and modernization of the road system in its vicinity. A new logistics hall with an area of ​​46 square meters has been built here. m2. The new Caddy will appear, like its predecessor, in various body styles: van, station wagon and many versions of the passenger car. The nomenclature of the passenger car lines has changed: the base model will now be called "Caddy", the higher specification version will be called "Life", and finally the premium version will be called "Style". All new versions are better equipped than the versions of the previous model.

Caddy is equipped with new four-cylinder engines. This is the next level of development of these power units. They comply with the Euro 6 2021 standard and are equipped with a particulate filter. A new feature that is being used for the first time in TDI engines from 55 kW/75 hp. up to 90 kW/122 hp, is the new Twindosing system. Thanks to two SCR catalytic converters, i.e. dual AdBlue injection, nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions are significantly lower compared to the previous model.

Equally efficient is the turbocharged TSI petrol engine with 84 kW / 116 hp. and a supercharged TGI engine running on natural gas.
