Ford Unveils All-New, Faster, More Capable 150 F-2021 Police Responder

The 150 Ford F-2021 Police Responder offers increased power and torque, outperforming all pursuit-rated police vehicles.

Ford introduced yesterday a new Police Defendant 150 F-2021, a pursuit-rated pickup built specifically for use in the United States.

The manufacturer added to the new Ford F-150 Police responser increased capability, including an improved top speed of 120 miles per hour, automatic four-wheel drive mode with transfer case low torque.

All new features are intended to help police officers patrolling from busy urban streets to dusty country roads.

“Law enforcement told us they would like to add the F-150 Police Responder to their fleet for towing, hauling and off-road hauling, but they need more confidence in speed and handling.”

"Whether it's suburban police departments, border patrol agents, or rural sheriffs, officers never know where their jobs might take them, but the new F-150 Police Responder offers a truck option designed to get them there faster and with more confidence." . than ever. before."

Ford focused the design of this F-150 Police Responder to meet the agency's wide range of needs, from allowing officers to travel with more response equipment to more interior volume for passengers.

150 Ford F-2021 Police Responder Has an Engine EcoBoost 3.5-liter, capable of producing up to 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Engine matched with automatic transmission SelectShift 10-speed, both uniquely calibrated for strict law enforcement use while delivering significantly higher speeds than the original F-150.

The power and torque of this pickup is superior to any police car designed for pursuit.

The vehicle is fitted with specially designed Goodyear LT265/70R18 LRC BSW Wrangler Enforcer off-road tires. These tires are specifically designed to withstand fast acceleration, high speeds and aggressive cornering on paved roads, as well as the heat generated during a chase without sacrificing off-road performance.

The new truck is equipped with a 4-Auto system in a transfer case with an electrically operated clutch that automatically adjusts torque as needed for better flotation in any terrain.

“4-Auto mode bridges the gap between 2-High and 4-High modes, resulting in improved performance,” said Allen Magolan, Ford Police Vehicle Integration Manager. “Dry tarmac is where you see the real payoff because it allows you to move faster through corners, which is a rare benefit for a truck.”

Today Ford opened a bank of government orders.
