Driver's license photo - requirements and size in 2014/2015

As you know, on April 1, 2014, a new form of driver's license was approved in Russia. A question that worries many is that to obtain new rights, do I need to bring photographs with me and how many pieces?

We answer - they take a picture of you directly at the traffic police and then this image is transferred to your ID, so you can take a photo in advance not to do.

Naturally, you should prepare for such a solemn moment as obtaining a VU - dress up to look beautiful in the photo. This is especially important for girls - there are cases when women deliberately spoiled their old certificate in order to get a new one, because in that photo they, you see, did not look very good.

Well, if you put aside the joke, then you will still need photos for training at a driving school and for obtaining a medical certificate.

Document photo requirements

There are a number of photo requirements:

• the face should be strictly in the center, the gaze is directed directly into the lens;
• facial expression should be neutral - this is the case when the photographer will not ask you to say "CHEEEESE";
• your eyes should be wide open so that their color can be seen;
• makeup should be neutral;
• the background is monotonous, the image is clear.

On the right you need to be photographed without glasses, even if you wear them all the time, but there will still be a mark below - glasses / lenses are required.

True, there are cases when vision is restored after correction, but the recording remains until the next replacement of the VU. In this case, you can say, if the instructor asks - “why without glasses?”, That, they say, he switched to lenses, there is no way to check this.

The presence of a corner in the photo is also important:

• for the examination card, prepare 2 photos with a corner;
• for a medical certificate - without a corner.

Photos should be matte, in no case glossy - you will be forced to bring new photos. Glossy photos are taken only on a Russian passport.

Examination and medical cards are the documents on the basis of which you will receive a driver's license. In addition, for persons suffering from any diseases, it may be indicated in the rights that a medical certificate is required. Well, the exam card will also come in handy if you lose your VU - it will confirm that you really studied at a driving school and passed the exams.

The size of the photos for all these documents is 3 by 4. You can immediately take 6 photos with a corner and six without a corner - you will have enough of them for everything and still have left for later. In addition, in all the photos you will look the same.
