Cars of 2015 new items in Russia

For those people who closely follow auto news, the appearance of new cars is not a surprise. Manufacturers exhibit their new developments and updated modifications of popular models at various auto shows throughout the year.

For example, back in March 2014 at the Geneva Auto Show, we could find out that from 2017 a compact crossover from Volkswagen, the T-Roc, would be produced.

You can write a lot about what new cars we will see in 2015, practically at all world auto shows - in Detroit, Geneva, Paris, Moscow, Frankfurt and other cities - mostly restyled versions were exhibited. Although flashed and a few new products, which would be worth paying attention to.

As we wrote earlier on the pages of our autoportal Vodi.su, 2014 brought us many interesting new products. I would like to hope that 2015 will also offer many new topics for conversation: new models of domestic production, a large number of new cars from well-known manufacturers from Europe, the USA, Japan and Korea. The Chinese industry is also developing by leaps and bounds and new cars from the "Celestial Empire" appear on the market almost constantly.

Novelties from domestic manufacturers

Pepper Vesta - in late November-early December 2014, AvtoVAZ plans to release a pilot batch of a new domestic sedan.

All these 40 copies are intended for all kinds of tests that will be held in Germany.

But from the beginning of September 2015, the sedan is planned to be launched into mass production.

Lada Vesta belongs to small class cars - length / width / height / wheelbase - 4410/1764/1497/2620 mm. It will be available as a 4-door hatchback and XNUMX-door sedan. The salon is designed for five passengers. When developing the brake system, suspension, steering, developments from Nissan and Renault were used, in particular, the steering was borrowed from Renault Megane.

As expected, VAZ gasoline engines with a volume of 1,6 liters and a capacity of 87 and 106 horsepower will be used as power units. A diesel engine from Nissan of the same size will also be introduced, it will be able to squeeze out 116 hp.

LADA Largus VIP and Super VIP — it will be the most prestigious LADA, the pilot series of which was already put into production in November 2014.

The new station wagon will differ from the “non-VIP” version by the presence of a more powerful engine with a capacity of 135 horsepower, and this engine will be on the VAZ, from the Renault Duster crossover.

Reportedly, at first, the engineers wanted to take one of the Infiniti models as a basis instead of the Duster, but due to the political situation, these plans had to be discarded.

Although even without this, the model promises to be successful: alloy wheels, enhanced braking system, there will be two separate seats at the back, and not a row of seats. The fuel and exhaust systems have been seriously worked out.

Earlier on the pages of our website Vodi.su we wrote about new cars from AvtoVAZ - Lada Kalina Cross and Lada Largus Cross. And although their production and sales started in the fall of 2014, in 2015 it is planned to expand the configurations of Kalina and Largus with new, more powerful engines. But despite such transformations, these models fit into the category of budget crossovers up to 500 thousand rubles.

It is still unclear when to expect mass production of the crossover LADA HRAY, which was presented at the Moscow Auto Show back in 2012. Then the management announced that serial production would be launched from 2015, but now the deadlines are being moved to the end of 2015, the beginning of 2016.

LADA XRAY has a lot in common with Renault Sandero Stepway and some developments are used in the same cross-versions of Kalina and Largus.

Obviously, the delay in the release will only lead to the fact that the model at the end of 2015 will look outdated - after all, the competition in the urban crossover segment is huge.

Novelties from foreign manufacturers

Since we have already touched on the French concert of Renault, it is worth noting that in their Romanian division, the production of a pickup truck is already in full swing - Dacia Duster Pick-Up. The model has already exhibited at the auto show in Sao Paulo. While it is not yet clear whether the mass production of this pickup is planned, the management says that the Duster Pickup is intended exclusively for the company's corporate customers.

However, if the model is successful, the pickup will soon appear in showrooms.

Agree that the Duster is a very popular crossover in itself. By the way, Pickup appears under one more name - Renault Oroch, it is reported that it will first be delivered to Latin American countries, where pickups are very popular with local farmers.

Toward the end of 2015, it should also appear in Russia.

Audi fans are looking forward to the Detroit Auto Show, because a new generation of SUV will be presented here Audi Q7 2016, mass production of which is scheduled for the end of 2015.

At the moment, it is known that the new SUV will be 350 kg lighter, and it is based on a new modular platform.

Appearance will undergo significant changes in the front part - the shape of the front optics will change, the false radiator grille will be increased in size. It is difficult to judge all the changes, but Audi's corporate profile cannot be confused with anything else.

Nobody will be surprised by hybrids in the new year, but Volvo will try - in the middle of summer a premium sedan with a plug-in hybrid installation will appear (that is, it will be possible to charge it directly from the network) Volvo S60L.

Interestingly, the assembly will be carried out on the conveyors of the Chinese Geely plant.

Compared to the Volvo S60 sedan, the hybrid version will have a longer wheelbase. We still do not have such strong demand for hybrids, and that is why the novelty will be intended primarily for the markets of China, Southeast Asia and North America.

It is difficult to describe all the novelties that await us in such a small article. Let's just say that Volkswagen intends to completely revise its pricing policy - the concern really wants to live up to its proud title of "People's Car". A whole series of budget hatchbacks and sedans worth 5-7 thousand euros (275-385 thousand rubles) is already being developed, which will first appear on the markets of India and China, and then should get to Russia.

Mercedes-Benz plans to release several M-Klasse crossovers in 2015, designed to seriously compete with the BMW X6.

It is also planned that the C-Klasse will have a new convertible, and the SLK-Klasse will facelift.
