Furion M1: French hybrid motorcycle

Combining a Wankel engine with an electric motor, the Furion M1 is the first fully French hybrid motorcycle.

If hydride engines are becoming more common in the automotive world, then now they are practically nonexistent in the motorcycle market. A situation that could soon change, thanks to the imagination of designer Mark Eveniss, who is working on the Furion M1, a hybrid roadster motorcycle project.

As for the engine, the Furion M1 is powered by a 327cc twin rotor. See associated with a 40 kW electrical unit. Combined, the two engines develop up to 180 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque.

On the energy front, nothing has been fixed yet, and it is unknown if this Furion will adopt classic hybrid technology like the one on board the Prius, where a rechargeable hybrid system with more battery capacity and more autonomy at 100% electric operation.
