HHC - Hill Hold Control

Bosch ESP Plus function that prevents the car from unintentionally rolling back when driving uphill.

Taking off uphill is not always easy, especially when the vehicle is heavily loaded. The driver must simultaneously and quickly apply the brake, accelerator and clutch to prevent the vehicle from rolling back. Hill Hold Control facilitates this type of starting by holding the brakes under pressure for an additional 2 seconds after the driver releases the brake pedal. The driver will have time to switch from brake to accelerator without using the hand brake. The car restarts smoothly and without a return.
