Honda Silver Wing 600

The Honda cruise ship is rightfully called the Gold Wing by many, and currently the largest scooter produced by this factory is called the Silver Wing. As the name suggests, it offers unrivaled comfort and luxury. The question is whether the mention of the precious metal in the title is bold or justified.

The classic scooter design places the Silver Wing in crowded city centers, which is firmly opposed to it as it can do so much more. She loves the dynamics of winding country roads and feels as good on the highway. This scooter is large in size and with great comfort. Thanks to its dimensions, the two-tier seat has more than enough room for a truly comfortable and relaxing driver's and passenger's seat, as well as plenty of space in the illuminated luggage compartment under the seat.

Two side drawers in front of the driver, which open with a simple push, are designed for household small things, which, unfortunately, cannot be without today, and on the right side of the drawer lid is also equipped with a high-quality lock. For comfort and ease of use in all circumstances, the plastic is also painted with exceptional wind protection, which protects the driver not only from wind but also from rain drops.

Side and center stands are standard equipment, which requires more foot pressure. The rear-view mirrors are infinitely adjustable, but compared to other scooter sizes, they can be slightly larger in favor of more transparency behind the driver's back. We have to praise the quality of the materials and the excellent workmanship or, in the case of plastic parts, the precise composition.

The heart of the Silver Wing is a 50-cylinder, in-line, water-cooled, XNUMX-valve engine with advanced electronic fuel injection, enough to deliver XNUMX horsepower.

Enough to literally jump out of place, enough for the speedometer needle to reach the 180 mark, and enough so that we don't really notice the anti-slip system on wet, slippery asphalt. The driver always has at least the power to accompany even the most dynamic motorcyclists on a trip without any problems. In faster turns, the scooter becomes a little restless, but always obediently follows the intended direction. The suspension is adjustable, neither too soft nor too stiff. The reliable brakes are also equipped with a dual braking system with ABS, and the hand-held parking brake ensures safe parking on a slope.

So, when it comes to luxury on two wheels, Honda gold is for a completely different motorcycle, while a scooter is for silver. Absolutely correct. But let's be honest, a scooter just can't be more expensive than silver.
