Honda VT1300CX ABS Fury: Sale Time

I apologize in advance if, instead of a classic discussion of technique, this is closer to a free high school essay called "I Think Means I Am." If you are interested in raw numbers, check out the technical table. If you think I have missed something important, ask by email.

I was furious on warm summer days, and because of the genuine visual affinity (at least far) with true American “customs”, I decided to go somewhere among the pines in a jet helmet, goggles, scarf and jeans and, finally, be cleansed. my attitude to these complex and uncomfortable motorcycles. The theory is clear: turning off the brain, slow rotation in time and rolling tobacco in the evenings. Have you seen the movie Easy Rider starring Hopper and Fondo?

In practice, even after spending time with it Hondo, which everyone (non-motorists) commented, looks like Harley, this does not work. It's hard. There, forks stretched out to the horizon and low pedals are not suitable for driving on the road to Jezersko.

Let it be clear: as a representative of the Fury segment, it drives well, but if we place it next to, for example, Honda's "bestseller" this year, NC700X … And no, I don't mix pears and apples, I just want to present a story from a distance in which a motorcycle does not at all equate to a fat bearded man blaming metal in a garage. Brakes? Well, yes. They have ABS, that also means something. Riding through the shaft knocks out the seal on the six and no, despite the huge seat, the ride is NOT comfortable. Unless you like a C-shaped spine and a hurricane at hundreds per hour.

But you are wondering what then the buyer gets 300 pounds of iron? First: buy image, which, turning their heads, can compete with the best superbikes. Checked. Here you should bow to the bravery of Honda. And secondly: a motorcyclist on such a Honda - time!! Because if he is in a hurry, driving such a car will not be fun.

I'm probably still too young.
