Ineos Grenadier. Tests are carried out under extreme conditions. The car will be available in Poland 130 INEOS Grenadier prototypes are being tested in various weather and landscape conditions around the world. Extreme testing in the Austrian mountains was the ultimate test of off-road performance as well as vehicle strength and durability. Production is scheduled to start in July 2022.

The Ineos Grenadier is a new British SUV inspired by the Land Rover Defender. The assumption was simple: it was to be built on a classic box frame and have permanent mechanical four-wheel drive.

Drive should be provided by BMW's six-cylinder inline engines (petrol and diesel) as standard, mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.

This year, INEOS Automotive tested the Grenadier, including one of the most challenging 4X4 test sites in the world. The latest Grenadier prototypes were approved by INEOS President Sir Jim Ratcliffe. The Grenadier was only approved after having passed the famous Schöckl mountain trails near the Magna Steyr headquarters in Austria.

Ineos Grenadier. Tests are carried out under extreme conditions. The car will be available in Poland- We've made huge progress over the early Grenadiers I rode a year ago. Sir Jim spoke. - Schöckl is a real challenge for any XNUMXxXNUMX vehicle. It was a real test for our prototypes and I can proudly say that they performed very well.

The most difficult tests on the cross-country ability and endurance of special-purpose vehicles took place in the Austrian mountains, famous for their merciless rocky terrain. Magna Steyr, technical partner of INEOS, has been using them in her research for decades.

Since mid-2021, the Grenadier testing program has been stepped up, with more than 130 Phase II prototypes being tested in extreme conditions around the world. In total, according to the development program, cars will cover more than 1,8 million kilometers.

Dirk Heilmann, CEO of INEOS Automotive, commented on the completion of the first test phase in the Austrian mountains: Reaching this important milestone is a huge step towards the full implementation of the project. We only have one chance to make things right. We still would like to achieve all of our Grenadier quality and performance targets. We don't want to cut corners. The current, extremely satisfactory results show that we are on the right track to implement our plan and start production no later than July next year.

In addition to testing at Mount Schökl, technicians have successfully used Grenadier prototypes to accurately calibrate an engine at low temperatures in northern Sweden, to complete vehicle dynamics development in Hungary, and to test in the hottest and most challenging environments in the world, including Morocco and the Middle East. East. The next stage of the project is the production of the first prototypes in Hambach.

The car will be available in Poland.
