On the one hand, it is easiest to write about your feelings, and on the other hand, it is the most difficult. It's much easier to back up something that you can back up with facts, like tracking times. This suspension, which I tested, gives the best time on the motocross track in Szentvid near Stichna from one and a half to at least two seconds per lap.

The WP Suspension brand probably needs little introduction, especially if you're close to racing and off-road bikes. They have more than 50 years of tradition, since their first installations can be found on motorcycles. KTM, Husqvarna and Gas Gas. In asphalt racing, they partner with the KTM team for MotoGP., KTM, Husqvarna and Gas Gas were in the fields at the special plant. Since last year. In enduro, motocross and rally, they are most successful with them.

Most recently, they won the new US supercross crown with them. Cooper Webb defeated all competitors in a special KTM SX450 F.... And this is the kind of racing where suspension is extremely important. Every rider knows that the key to driving fast is how well the bikes make contact with the ground. Whether it's a race like supercross with a lot of long jumps, or racing on asphalt. Good suspension, even on bumps and after high jumps, maintains predictability and calms the entire bike.

I've tested the WP suspension in the enduro range where I test most hard enduro bikes, and therefore the comparison is easiest. I tested the improvements on the excellent hard enduro Special Husqvarna FE 350, which was updated on MotoXgeneration with new settings., cartridge replacement in WP XPLOR forks and replacement of the rear shock with the WP XACT Pro model, which allows for more precise control of reflection at low and high speeds. This conversion costs 1024 euros for the fork and 2050 euros for the rear shock. For the sake of feeling, I say that basic transformations by changing settings otherwise start with 200 euros for each set.

The Husqvarna FE 350 then drove calmly over rocks and stone surfaces, with little to no steering wheel shaking or rear wheel bouncing. It's like you're driving on much less excavated land. The rear shock absorber has a built-in air bubble in a rubber wrap, which is more sensitive to minor impacts and therefore more accurately acts on the hydraulics in the shock absorber (combined system) when driving over rocks and roots. In addition, I was less tired while driving, so I made fewer mistakes.Experience WP XPLOR and XACT Pro Suspension - Wheel to Ground Contact is Key

Thus, the increase in self-confidence and driving on a different (faster and faster) track is just a consequence of all this. Therefore, I can say that such a suspension is also suitable for outdoor enthusiasts, if, of course, they can afford such an investment. Well, that is, of course, another question. Deciding to tweak the suspension is the same as when fatiguing. This is not necessary as the bike is already equipped with a suspension, but after the conversion, the ride will definitely be better, easier, more accurate and safer.

44-year tradition

Company SUSPENSION WP was founded in 1977 in Malden, the Netherlands... Out of curiosity, let me tell you that in WP developed the first upside down forks (USD) and set this system into batch production. With the aforementioned suspension, they won the first motocross world title in 1984. Heinz Kinigadner helped them with this historic achievement at the KTM racing car factory in the up to 250cc category.
