The working platform of the tristand is made of enameled aluminium. The kiln enamelling process gives Tristand a high-quality, corrosion-resistant finish. The work platform has several cutouts to accommodate various plumbing tools such as a hand tapping wrench or pipe wrench.

Built-in chain pipe vise
While some tripods are used in conjunction with a chain or swivel pipe vise, others have a built-in pipe vise. This means that only one tool is required, making the process of using a pipe vice more economical and time efficient.
Legs and leg chain
Wide-angle tripod legs give the instrument excellent stability. They can be easily folded and secured with a leg chain when the stand is not in use and needs to be stored or transported.
