Worn engine seal
A worn out engine with high mileage, which has backlash in many elements, can be temporarily “treated” by pouring oil of a higher density into the sump.
A worn out engine with high mileage, which has backlash in many elements, can be temporarily “treated” by pouring oil of a higher density into the sump.
For example, instead of 5 W 30 or 5 W 40 oil, you can fill in 10 W 30 or 15 W 40. Of course, starting such an engine in winter will be more difficult (thick oil), but the condition of the motorcycle will improve for a while, and the gaps will be “sealed” with thick oil. If synthetic oil was previously used, it can be replaced with semi-synthetic oil.
