Tesla Model 3 build quality - good or bad? Opinion: very good [video]

Tesla Model 3 poorly built? How is the quality of his interior? Is Tesla different from European (German) competitors? Teslafinity tested this with the European version of the car. And while that's just one, the overall takeaway seems to be in line with more cars sold today: small flaws do happen, but the build quality of the Tesla Model 3 is really good.

Tesla regularly compares with premium brands. Model S is placed next to the Audi A8, Model 3 is placed next to the BMW 3 Series or Audi A4. Unsurprisingly, potential buyers have pointed out to Tesla that the quality of the California-based manufacturer's vehicles differs from the aforementioned brands. However, already at the end of last year, Musk promised that the folding Model 3 is no different from more expensive competitors - it will get better and better over time.

Youtuber Teslafinity picked up a Model 3 for his parents. The process itself was not very smooth, there were a lot of letters, phone calls, confusion. However, all these negative impressions disappeared as soon as he was finally able to touch the car.

The Tesla Model 3 described was produced in April 2019. Youtube he did not find any places in it where varnish would not be enough. On the contrary, the worst points gave the impression that they had one layer too much. Overall - as measured by other testers - the paint layer looks average compared to the industry as a whole.

in respect of setting itemsin fact, a few things could be improved here and there, although they do not induce sleepiness. In Tesla Model 3, which we saw in Wroclaw, after a very painstaking search, we managed to find two such points, they appear in the film (under the photo):

Interior quality she seemed very good to him. Inside, one could stick to a millimeter gap next to the left front speaker and up to a seam on the passenger seat, which was slightly twisted at a length of 1 centimeter. However, in general, it seems that the Tesla Model 3 is a durable car.

The video has footage of the highway (the odometer reads 125 km / h), but Teslafiniti does not mention a word about the noise during high-speed driving. In an early Tesla Model 3 tested by Autocentrum.pl, the noise at 130-140 km / h was extremely unpleasant, suggesting that a lot has changed here.
