How to use reverse on a cordless screwdriver?

	Most cordless screwdrivers are reversible, which means they can turn the chuck and therefore the screwdriver or drill bit in both directions.
	The reverse function is controlled by a switch that allows you to switch between forward and reverse. This switch is usually located right above the speed control trigger, so it can be easily pressed with your thumb or forefinger. Whether or not your particular make and model has this feature should be stated in the product specification or user manual.
When to use reverse
	Screw removal If the screw was screwed in with a power screwdriver, it may be difficult to remove it with a manual screwdriver. An inverse function can be used for this purpose.
	Reversing drills Most cordless screwdrivers are not designed to drill holes, but you will need a drill to do so. When drilling holes, the bit can sometimes jam and simply pulling it out can cause damage. Turning the screwdriver in the opposite direction means that you can safely unscrew the drill bit.
