How to open all doors at once with a key fob on Grant
Many owners of Lada Granta cars are perfectly familiar with the standard alarm system, as well as with its key fob. But not everyone knows that in addition to the basic functions, the standard security system has several additional ones, which were not even written about in every manual.
So, depending on what equipment you have, norm, standard or luxury, there may be more or less functions.
- Glass closer. It can be activated by long pressing the button for unlocking or locking the central locking on the key fob. We hold it for several seconds in the “unlocking” mode - the glass closer is activated, and they themselves go down. When you press the “lock” button, the windows, on the contrary, rise up.
- Child mode and locking (unlocking) all doors at once with a single press of a button. Activating it is quite simple. With the ignition on, you must simultaneously press the unlock and lock button and hold until the turn signals on the instrument panel flash. At this moment, the unlocking mode of the Grants' door locks is activated with just one press of the button. And also, there is another feature of this mode - when reaching 20 km / h, all car doors are automatically closed by the central lock.
I think that some Grant owners knew about these additional (hidden) functions, but at the same time, not everyone applied it personally.
