How to use a digital goniometer (digital protractor)?

Instructions for using the digital protractor/protractor may vary by device as not all devices will have the same buttons or modes.
"Horizontal measuring mode"
	Step 1 - Set the protractor to "horizontal measuring mode". Make sure you are in "horizontal measurement mode" (this can be identified by an icon such as ABS).
	Step 2 - Place the protractor on the corner Place the digital protractor on an inclined surface. This will give you the angle on the digital display. Angle uses a "horizontal plane" (flat surface) as its base.
"Relative measurement mode"
	Step 1 - Place the protractor on the first corner Place the digital protractor at the angle you want to measure from.
	Step 2 - Press the "zero" button  The zero button will reset the angle on the display to zero degrees.
	Step 3 - Place the protractor on the second corner  Place the digital protractor on the angle you want to measure. The displayed measurement will be the angle between the start angle from "Step 1" and the second angle.
