How to remove the front seats on a VAZ 2107
The main problem with the front seats of the VAZ 2107 is its breakdown when the back is not fixed in an upright position, or the failure of the adjustment mechanism (on a slide). It is in these cases, or when replacing, the front seats will need to be removed from the car.
To perform this repair on the VAZ “classic”, we need the following tool:
- Head 8
- Extension
- Ratchet handle
- Open-end wrench 13
The front seat mounting bolts are located on both the front and rear sides, so you first need to move the seat all the way forward, as shown in the picture below:
Since the bolts are now available, you can unscrew them:
After the back is free, move the chair all the way back to gain access to the front bolts. The far right one turns away similarly to the back side, but on the left you need to unscrew the nut with a 13 wrench, as is clearly shown in the photo below:
The seat can then be removed without any problems and removed completely from the vehicle interior.
