To do this, you need to notify the inspector who inspects the car that you want to keep the license plate for yourself. In this case, he will check the compliance of the signs with state standards.

The next thing you have to do is to write a corresponding application on the form issued there. It is worth remembering that you can leave the license plate only if you meet all the standards. The process is as follows:

1. First, you need to visit the MREO, having previously collected a package of documents, including a passport, technical passport and registration numbers.
2. After that, you need to fill out an application form, while indicating the reason for removing the vehicle from the register (recycling). Write down the passport data and the data of the technical passport.
3. On a separate sheet of paper, explain the details: why the machine was scrapped, its make, registration numbers and model.
4. Hand over the documents and registration plates to the representatives of the traffic police. The consideration of the submitted papers depends on the number of visitors and the quality of the service personnel.
