How to Erase BMW Errors

 

In response to a personal request, a short step-by-step debugging guide for those who are uncomfortable doing it in the English version of ISTA, but install it precisely because they wanted to, for example, make drums (in previous posts I posted a link to such an ISTA +). Of course, I'm not sure if I'm doing everything right, it just worked for me. Lots of pictures, relatively few letters.

We start the program, go to the tab Read vehicle data and click Full identification (full identification of the car).

Once again, for some reason, we establish a connection with the machine (Set up connection).

We agree that we are qualified enough to work with gay cars (there is no other way).

We go to the Control Unit Tree tab (a tree of control units or something) and it immediately asks to show us a list of errors in memory (Show fault memory).

And on the next page, we stomp on Remove the memory of failure. Before deleting, you can familiarize yourself with each of the errors closer - there is a lot of information there.

The removal process takes some time.

At some point, the machine turns off and then comes back to life.

That's it, no more errors. In addition to those that are, as in my case with the driver's rear-view mirror.

How can you remove errors from the on-board one yourself?

Various errors are displayed on the bortovik, I don’t know what they are connected with (I don’t know German well). All major systems work fine, but there are bugs. Body BMW .525 tds 39. How to disassemble them?

The coolant level when filling, if it does not disappear, change the coolant level sensor.

And when changing oil with filters, you can cancel the oil maintenance yourself, through simple combinations of pressing the daily odometer reset button
