Which pickup trucks need more gas in the US?

If you are looking for the most economical trucks, you may want to avoid these three trucks. Although they have many positive qualities, they are the trucks that require the most gasoline to operate.

Automakers have come up with new ways to make pickups more fuel efficient without sacrificing performance, and many even offer more power with smaller engines.

However, some brands still offer trucks that require a lot of gas to run, and with such high prices, you can spend a lot of money using them.

So if you're thinking about buying a brand new pickup truck that performs well but doesn't use a lot of gas, your best bet is to do a little research and find out which pickups use the most fuel.

So here we are, according to Consumer Reports, three of America's most voracious pickup trucks.

1.- Nissan Titan 

The 2022 Nissan Titan is the most expensive truck when it comes to filling up the gas tank. It has a 26 gallon tank and can go 416 miles on a single tank. The Titan can offer up to 11 mpg city, 22 mpg highway.

The Nissan Titan only comes with an 8-litre V5.6 engine that can produce up to 400 hp. and 413 lb-ft of torque. 

2.- Ram 1500

The 1500 Ram 2022 gets a total of 11 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. It has a 26 gallon tank and can go 416 miles on a full tank.

3.- Chevrolet Silverado 

The 1500 Chevrolet Silverado 2022 offers 10 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and can go up to 384 miles on a full tank of gas. The base model is powered by a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine with 420 lb-ft of torque and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
