Which battery to choose for the VAZ 2107

Recently, I had to change the battery on my car, because in the morning after several attempts to start the engine, it refused to work. And just a few days later, my father calls and says that his “Seven” also “ran out” of the battery. Since I was going to visit my parents the other day, I decided to buy something better in the city, and they have no choice at all.

To be honest, I did not like the quality of this battery, my father often suffered with it, in severe frosts I constantly had to bring it into the house at night in order to start the engine in the morning without any problems. Although it has a capacity of 55 Amperes / hour, and the starting current is considerable and amounts to 460 Amperes, for some reason it seems to me that these indicators are slightly overestimated by the manufacturer, especially the second one.

So, when this time I was choosing a battery, I didn't want to look at cheap options. Among the good brands, Bosch and Varta were on display.

• Bosch - I think everyone is familiar with this manufacturer, as it makes almost everything from auto parts to power tools, as well as household appliances.
• Varta is also a German brand, but it purely specializes in the production and sale of batteries only. This brand is considered the best in the world in its field, and produces premium batteries.

Of course, for those who have not heard of Varta before, it may seem that Bodch is better, but in fact, the quality of Varta is not worse, but even better. It is enough to read numerous reviews on forums and blogs and it becomes clear that there is no need to doubt the quality of this product.

Of course, if you want maximum quality and a battery life of at least 5 years, then Varta is a great choice. But you will have to pay more for the battery. For example, the 55th battery with a starting current of 480 amperes will cost 3200 rubles. And the same Bosch can be bought as much as 500 rubles cheaper! But I can say that there is something to overpay for. I installed one on my car, and now I bought the same one for my father, both of them are happy. Yes, and I asked many friends, even owners of foreign cars, on this issue - 90% said that they consider Varta to be the best company in this business.
