At the next 2020 Geneva Motor Show, Kia will unveil the world premiere of the new, fourth-generation Sorento. There sports utility Great Korean evolves aesthetically, enriches equipment with new, more modern technological systems and for the first time installs a new platform in the Asian range.

New platform for electrified Kia debuts
But the most important news new Kia Sorento 2020 it will concern the introduction, for the first time in the lineup, of a new platform for the electrified models of the Kia family. Thanks to this new architecture, the Sorento will be able to use Hyundai Group's new "Smart Stream" engines.
There will most likely be a new one under the hood transmissions plug-in hybrid combining a heat engine from 1.6-liter T-GDi electrical unit. In this case, the transmission will be entrusted to a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive as standard.
