Short test: Toyota Corolla Sedan 1.8 Hybrid // Hybrid for the whole world

In a few years, it will be very interesting to see how many of these limousines will be traveling around the world as a taxi, because if you think about it, it has everything a taxi driver needs. The trunk is large enough to accommodate suitcases for two if the luggage is a bit streamlined, as well as for four passengers.... There's plenty of comfort, legroom, and headroom inside, even if you're not quite the size of a basketball. The materials are correct, of high quality to the touch, and we are sure that even after many years of operation, such Corollas will not be recognized in the interior of the year.

We liked it too the interior is no longer so plastic and the feeling in the cabin is pleasant... The driver can adjust his work space well, and he will also be pleased with the installation of switches and displays for various functions in the car. It took a little getting used to the big protruding the screen, which at first glance looks like an alien, is like a small TV, on which the buttons for adjusting the climate in the cabin are screwed. Perhaps an ordinary user of such a machine is not embarrassed by this, perhaps he may even like such a large screen. Well, we believe other solutions can be found.

Short test: Toyota Corolla Sedan 1.8 Hybrid // Hybrid for the whole world

Driving a Corolla Sedan does not give unnecessary dynamics of movement, but does its job flawlessly correctlywhen we talk about driving that follows driving dynamics. The chassis is more focused on comfort than sports. For those looking for more driving pleasure, Toyota has other models. More importantly, the heart, which this time for the first time in a hybrid with an automatic transmission, does its job very well. The 1,8-liter hybrid engine is quiet, lively and responsive enough to provide a pleasant and, above all, comfortable ride in the city, as well as on rural roads or highways. Fuel consumption on our standard lap was 4,6 liters, which is a good achievement for such a car.... We were a little less happy as we drove most of the way down the highway. There the engine starts to drink a little, as the consumption has grown to 6,2 liters per 100 km.

We also have to commend safety, as the new Corolla has achieved high standards here and offers the driver and passengers a lot of passive and active safety for this class.
