Tankers are equipped with pumping stations and other additional equipment. The tank is equipped with breakwaters, which reduce the force of hydraulic shocks, inevitable during transportation, and also serve as additional stiffeners. Due to the increased fire and explosion hazard, tankers are equipped with grounding and a fire extinguishing system.
