Real winter range of the Audi e-tron: 330 kilometers [Bjorn Nyland's TEST]

Youtuber Bjorn Nyland tested the Audi e-tron in winter conditions. With a quiet ride, the car consumed 25,3 kWh / 100 km, which made it possible to estimate the real power reserve in winter at 330 kilometers. The distance that could be covered on a battery in good weather, Nyland estimated at 400 kilometers.

The road was slightly damp, with streaks of slush and snow. They increase rolling resistance, which results in higher energy consumption and, as a consequence, a shorter range. The temperature was between -6 and -4,5 degrees Celsius.

At the very beginning of the test, youtuber checked the weight of the Audi e-tron: 2,72 tons. By counting a person and his possible luggage, we get a car weighing more than 2,6 tons. Thus, the electric Audi will not cross some bridges in Polish villages, the carrying capacity of which has been determined to be 2 or 2,5 tons.

The YouTuber loved the blue and white highlighting of the vehicle's elements, as well as one addition that VW Phaeton owners are aware of: a reddish light somewhere at the top slightly illuminates the center console, making it visible to the console and other items as well. in the glove compartment, which could otherwise be lost in the shade.

We already know the end of the experiment: YouTube estimated the total achievable flight range at 330 kilometers, and the car estimated the average energy consumption at 25,3 kWh / 100 km.
