KTM LC4 640 Six days

This thought struck me when I got my hands on the blue KTM Six Days in Spain, much later than the official program. I experienced this because we, the reporters over there, over Barcelona, collectively switched from engine to engine every few tens of kilometers. And you will comfort your passion for gasoline if you understand what that means.

In short, KTM had quite a few bikes ready for reporters; but there were some - let's call them "comfort" - that the waiting keyboard masters didn't stare idly into the air when the hottest machines were on the way.

Six Days was conceived there as a comfortable motorcycle, although it looked like a new idea from the rich price list on the LC4 model, but in the familiar automotive style, when the added letter next to the name of the car means something else, usually richer. set of equipment. So, for example, KTM presents the Adventure-R model in the pages of very beautiful brochures. For a while, I could not clarify the picture in order to understand which set of equipment it comes from, so you do not need to look through the domestic or European price lists.

So, let's open the secret: the regular Six Days LC4 640 motorcycle is a German idea. The dealer there likes to make limited edition slightly modified bikes, so from what I've heard, they don't just do off-season discounts. The idea is not at all wrong, although every Slovenian motorcyclist strives to keep the price to a minimum.

We know about the classic LC4 640 that it is the representative of the world called hard enduro, hard enduro, but with less relief because it has an electric starter and civilian shifters. However, hard enduro is also a way of life, not just a look; A young spirit, muscles, the ability to overcome are valued. It is clear that the machine must be suitable for this. Like a stallion. It is known who owns the hitch.

Fortunately, the 640 will come in handy on the road too, and if you buy the gift of road tires on wide wheels, you have the choice of your own redesigned supermoto that doesn't seem to take much time to think about. O. So with the base 640, you get quality parts intelligently assembled around a single-cylinder four-stroke engine that retains the kick-start and has ample power and torque in every way.

The entire package is sport-tested, durable as you would expect from an athletic stallion, and versatile. Because it sits upright like a racing SUV, the bike has reliable traction and predictable handling.

If you think the traditional orange or civilized gray is too ready, then the recipe for Six Days is here: blue plastic and matching stickers; protection of hands and forearms is the law; the aluminum engine cover engraved with the KTM name looks quite elegant, which in itself is worth the look and money; don't forget clean tires with rough teeth. They are great for off-road, shaking on asphalt.
