US startup Land Energy has just announced the reservation of its new electric motorcycle. This two-wheeled vehicle, equivalent to 125cc, is called the Land District and is produced in a very limited series ...
The area is the offspring of a new American builder called Land Energy. The Cleveland, Ohio-based startup has faced a delay in its projects due to the health crisis. Thus, it was only recently that the company was finally able to open the stage of booking its car.
The District is available in two versions, the 01 Edition and the Founders Edition, with its sleek and angular design. Each of these bikes is hand-assembled at the startup's premises. The production of these two versions is limited to only 80 pieces: 60 pieces for the "01 Edition" and 20 for the "Founders Edition". The first weighs 70 kg and the second 80 kg. Both models can carry a maximum load of 170 kg.
Pirelli "Angel City" tires, Magura dual-piston front and rear brakes, 4 driving modes, top speed 95 km / h ... The main attraction of the new Land Energy motorcycle is its design and 8 kW central electric motor.
It is powered by a 1,8 kWh battery for the 01 Edition and 3,6 kWh for the Founders Edition. The autonomy of the first battery is 65 km, the second 130 km. In the "01 Edition" you can install a second battery to get twice the autonomy. The same in the "Founders Edition" can be increased by adding a 5 kWh battery.

The 01 Edition area is offered on the manufacturer's website for $ 8000 (€ 6900). The Founders Edition costs $ 15 (almost € 000). Both models are covered by a 13 year warranty.
For the time being, however, Land Energy does not intend to expand outside the United States. Too bad, because his electric motorcycle is going to be a real hit among European bikers!
