Here are some quick thoughts, and the full test can be found in Auto Magazine # 23, which comes out November 29th.

First impression

What a beautiful motorcycle! We love the attention to detail, we love the Öhlins suspension and the extremely efficient brakes that surprise us more from lap to lap. We love how fast and safe it can be driven. It is one of the most versatile sports bikes to date and has proven itself both on the track and on the road or as a charm in the city.

Rating: (5/5)

Exterior (5/5)

It is beautiful in both red and black, which are only available in one color. A minimalist aerodynamic spoiler and fastback seat balance it out nicely, but it's all about its engine, which is beautiful, in plain sight, and has thick tailpipes.

Motor (4/5)

The electronics work so well that the 160 "horsepower" is hiding a bit, but when you look at the speedometer, you quickly discover that it is extremely powerful and sporty. It has 75 percent torque in the lower rev range, which is great for on-road driving. However, we lacked a little more agility in sixth gear at low speeds.

Comfort (5/5)

Great seat, great ergonomics and comfortable pedal-steering wheel-seat triangle layout.

Price (3/5)

Since this is the top end of the offer, it makes sense that it cannot be cheap, but given the exclusivity it offers, the price is an understandable consequence.

We drove DUCATI MONSTER 1200R 2 - Monster 1200 R - the latest creation of the Italian masters from Borgo Panigale. The fastest, most expensive, sportiest and most technically sophisticated Ducati in its simplest form is also sinfully expensive. In the video, we summarized our impressions from the first races at the prestigious Askari Hippodrome.
