Lighting Strike is a fast electric bike with a range of more than 240 km at an amazing price
Lighting has announced the launch of the Strike model. An electric motorcycle should accelerate to 241 km / h and cover 241 km without recharging. Of course, both of these values are unlikely to be achieved at the same time, but the parameters are impressive. Moreover, the motorcycle should be cheaper than almost all competitors.
The Strike is expected to impress not only with its range and top speed, but also with its charging speed: it should last only 35 minutes, although that probably means replenishing 80 percent of the battery's capacity. The manufacturer announces that the motorcycle will appear in March 2019 and will cost $ 13 (exactly: $ 12), which is equivalent to 998 PLN net.
It's NOT cheap, but it's worth noting that a BMW C evolution with less than 160 miles starts at $14 in the US. In turn, a Zero SR motorcycle with an additional battery that extends range to Strike level costs almost $20, while a Harley-Davidson LiveWire costs almost $30!

Against the background of the aforementioned technique, Lighting promises almost pears on willow. However, if the company has kept its word, it may turn out that the market is undergoing a revolution. Strike promises similar parameters to a fast gasoline motorcycle for a similar price, but in an electric version. It should be added that the company was not created yesterday and already offers the LS218 model, which is advertised under the slogan "The fastest production motorcycle in the world" (351 km / h with corresponding gear ratios and fairings):
