Linhai 300 2 × 4

But besides the Internet and cheaper travel around the world, globalization has at least one more good feature - trade, where you can get a lot for little money. We know it's a cliché, a cliché or a double-edged sword, because in the flood of cheap goods from China, we quickly get rid of money for a perishable product. Out of many different four-wheeled toys, we have managed to pick out one that we dare to represent a good compromise between the quality of the final product offered and the price.

We can confirm this bold claim with a three month test. The Slovenian representative has certainly shown a lot of courage in this regard, as it is dangerous to give up a product that costs a little less than 5.000 euros, which is actually cheap when you look at competing four-wheelers, and believe in it so firmly that it will prove itself. Namely, we do not manipulate the truth and do not hide our shortcomings, if not for ourselves, then for you, loyal readers.

Namely, we drove this Chinese product across all possible and impossible terrains, left it in the rain, in the snow, soaked it in the mud and climbed the slopes with it. Our list of pros is about three times as long as the list of things we didn't like. First of all, it should be noted the surprisingly high level of finishes and the quality of the materials used.

Rust did not appear anywhere, but it could, the plastic fenders are resistant to scratches and impacts. The equipment is pretty good too. Linhai has two suitcases (perfect for hunters, foresters and adventurers who carry a lot of luggage), hand fences to keep out the cold and branches, protect vital engine and chassis parts, and even a fully real towbar. Yes, you can also tow a trailer with it.

Since it has a gearbox (transmission is automatic continuously variable even with reverse gear), towing a load or climbing a steep incline is even safer. However, they even made sure that you can turn on all four direction indicators for your own safety. As befits a product destined for the European market, the Linhai 300 2 × 4 is also homologated for road use (registered for two people), although the engine (275cc liquid-cooled single cylinder) and chassis do not deliver more than 80 speeds. kilometers per hour on a flat road. But for an ATV, the road is not the right environment anyway. It performs much better on gravel and carts and meets the expectations of the discerning driver.

And finally, what worried us. After a long ride (more than two to three hours), setting the throttle lever turns out to be a little uneasy, as the thumb of the right hand is slightly stretched and tired all the time. But it can be fixed with some skills and tools. Even the rear brake pedal (the brakes hold firmly) is not where you would like it, you can move it forward a little from the middle of the footpeg where it will be less in the way. However, if the numbers on the counters are a bit small, this list ends as well. Gasoline in the fuel tank and let's go to a new party! ...
