Malaguti REST E: the first electric motorcycle of 2020

Heralding the first production model, the Malaguti electric motorcycle was presented at EICMA as a world premiere.

Italian brand Malaguti, now owned by the KSR group, goes electric at EICMA, where it unveils the REST E, a motorcycle in the 125 equivalent category. If the model takes on a sporty look, performance is unfortunately not changed. Limited to a rated power of 3 kW and a peak power of 8 kW, the electric motor does not promise insanity in terms of speed and acceleration. It is driven by a six-speed manual transmission and is powered by two 1,68 kWh batteries.

As for the launch, Malaguti is promising marketing before the end of 2020. Hoping that by then the brand will appreciate the performance of its model ...
