Mountain biking spot: 5 must-see routes in Correse

Geographically located to the west of the Massif Central, Corrèze is bordered by Quercy, Auvergne, the Dordogne Valley, Limousin and Perigord. This gives him an offer of varied landscapes: mountains, plateaus and pools. In the south, around Collonge-la-Rouge, there are sandstone hills. In short, an ideal environment for nature lovers and in particular for mountain biking.

Many municipalities named "the most beautiful villages in France" are located within an 80 km radius of Collonges. By the way, Collonge la rouge lies at the origins of this label. La Corrèze has 5 of the most beautiful villages in France. Stars not to be missed are Collonges-la-Rouge, Curmont, Saint-Robert, Segur-le-Château and Turenne.

Collonge-la-Rouge is located on the Meisac Fault, where two slabs meet: a central sandstone massif and limestone deposits.

There are many marked paths in the vicinity: GR, PR, the Saint-Jacques-de-Compostel circuit and soon a mountain bike base.
