Opel Meriva

This subcompact van rolled off the production line for the first time in 2003. The first generation Opel Meriva A was built on the Opel Corsa platform. In Russia, it is represented by four types of gasoline engines:

• 1.4 Ecotec 5 manual transmission - 101 hp, 130 Nm;
• 1.4 Ecotec 6 automatic transmission - 120 hp, 200 Nm;
• 1.4 Ecotec Turbo 6 manual transmission - 140 hp, 200 Nm.

All types of engines are economical, consuming 7,6-9,6 liters of A-95 in the city, 5-5,8 liters outside the city.

The car comes in a front-wheel drive version, there are ABS, EBD, ESP systems - we mentioned them earlier on Vodi.su. According to the dynamic characteristics of the car, it cannot be called too frisky - acceleration to hundreds takes 14, 10 and 11,9 seconds, respectively.

Opel Zafira

This compact van began to be produced in 1999. The first generation was called Opel Zafira A. The car was front-wheel drive, designed for 5 seats. It was supplied with a large number of types of engines: gasoline, turbocharged gasoline, turbodiesels. There was also an option that runs on mixed fuels - gasoline + methane.

Since 2005, the production of the second generation begins - Opel Zafra B or Zafira Family. It is also presented in Russia - it is a comfortable 7-seater car for traveling with the whole family. Equipped with a 1.8-Ecotec gasoline engine with 140 horsepower. It is equipped with a robotic or manual 5-speed gearbox.

The car cannot be called cheap - such a complete set of the Opel Zafira Family of 2015 assembly will cost 1,5 million rubles. At the same time, you will feel completely safe, as the car is equipped with all modern driver assistance systems, and according to the Euro NCAP classification, it received 5 stars.

Opel Zafira Tourer is the latest version of the third generation, which was introduced back in 2011. In Russia, you can buy cars with different types of engines: 1.4 and 1.8 Ecotec Gasoline, 2.0 CDTI - diesel. Equipped with mechanical and automatic transmissions.

The 7-seater minivan stands out for its bright appearance, a special type of head optics. Reliably holds the road thanks to the stability control and anti-lock brakes. Not bad dynamics, as for a minivan weighing 1,5-1,7 tons - acceleration to hundreds on a diesel version takes 9,9 seconds.

Prices in the salons of dealers range from 1,5-2 million rubles. The car is a competitor to such well-known models from other manufacturers as the Ford S-Max or Citroen Picasso. In Europe, it is also produced for operation on mixed fuel types - hydrogen, methane.

Opel Combo

This van is classified as a light-duty truck. Both commercial vans and passenger variants are presented. Release began in 1994. The latest generation, the Opel Combo D, is built on the same platform as the Fiat Doblo.

The car is designed for 5 or 7 seats.

It is completed with three types of engines:

• 1.4 Fire;
• 1.4 Fire TurboJet;
• 1.4 CDIT.

95-horsepower petrol engines are ideal for city work. Diesel is more economical, its power is 105 horsepower. As a transmission, either ordinary mechanics or an Easytronic robotic gearbox are installed.

Opel Vivaro

Minivan for 9 seats. An analogue of Renault Traffic and Nissan Primastar, which we wrote about earlier on Vodi.su. Available with several types of diesel engines:

• 1.6 liter 140 hp turbodiesel;
• 2.0 CDTi at 114 hp;
• 2.5 CDTi for 146 horsepower.

In the last, second generation, manufacturers paid great attention to the interior and exterior. So, the interior space can be combined by folding or removing extra seats. Appearance also makes you pay attention to this minivan.

To help the driver, there are cruise control systems, parking sensors, rear view cameras, ABS, ESP. For increased safety, front and side airbags are provided.
