Tesla mobile app in Polish with fingerprint unlocking and the opportunity to win Model Y • ELECTROMAGNETS
Our reader, EV polo, noticed a change in Tesla's mobile app: it has become polonized. Reader Bronek explained that the version installed in the new version of Android is in Polish, while the application still interacts in English with the old system (Android 7).
Tesla mobile app changes
It all started with turbulence. Some Tesla suddenly disappeared from the application, our Reader had a problem with the display of rims on the phone (after replacing them, the car lost the wheels), and the car stopped appearing later - perhaps both problems are unrelated. The solution was an update that made the following changes:
- Polish menu,
- the ability to unlock the application by fingerprint,
- the opportunity to win a Tesla Model Y.
The Polish language appears only on new Android systems.
The manufacturer informs that Tesla mobile app for Android updated on June 25... This means that the translation has already been sewn in and has recently been activated. Perhaps this happened when Tesla had a Polish interface with firmware 2020.28, several days ahead of the launch of the Polish "salon" in the barracks in Wilanów (Warsaw).

The opportunity to win a Tesla Model Y is available to anyone who has encouraged others to buy a Tesla Model S, 3, X using their own referrer (referral link). Cars are raffled monthly, and every quarter there is a special prize - Tesla Roadster Founders Edition. Owners of cars with free Supercharger charging (old Tesla Model S and X) get two chances to win instead of one.
The incentive to buy a Tesla Model Y, Cybertruck or a used Tesla does not count towards the prize draw (source).

All indications are that It is theoretically possible to win Tesla Model Y in Poland.... However, in our country, you will have to remember to pay income tax on the prize in the amount of 10 percent of the value of the car. The corresponding amount will be indicated in the contract or in the protocol for transferring the prize.
Tesla Model Y will appear on our continent in the second half of 2021.
