We never doubted the nobility of the new MV Agusta Brutale 910. In our opinion, this is the roadster with the most beautiful design, which is also confirmed by numerous design awards. But the "old" Brutale F4 750 lacked only a few things: torque and a little power. The beauties forming on Lake Lago di Varese were sent to intense fitness training, and the unit with radial valves was increased to 909 cubic centimeters. This was enough to now produce 1 hp. at 136 rpm with a maximum torque of 12.000 Nm at 96 rpm.
Turning the key and pushing the red button elicits a muffled racing rinse from a pair of short-cut exhaust pipes. Immediately noticeably deeper bass compared to the 750cc engine. The smile on his face didn't fade from the next moment (when we shifted into first gear of the precision cassette transmission) until the moment we returned the bike. Brutale is a poem of its own when taken from the city.
Handling is easy, and without that undemanding, and because of the short wheelbase, it goes into a turn by itself. It probably doesn't need to be emphasized that they'll be spotting you all over the city, much less that they'll be hearing you everywhere. To call this sound a noise or a hum is, of course, a gross insult without apologies; a four-cylinder symphony on two wheels is the most beautiful in the world. As the tachometer hits 8.000, Brutale announces the poisonous sound of a rampaging Ferrari.
On a motorcycle, it looks like the front wheel is lifted off the ground and the body is flooded with an adrenaline rush. Thus, on a very long plane, the Brutale develops a speed of 257 km / h, which is quite enough for a roadster. Despite the solid aerodynamics, there is no wind protection. Even at high speeds, the MV Agusta is quite calm and stable, but what's more, the powerful brakes with a six-piston caliper are impressive.
Otherwise, you can be sure where Brutale feels best - on the corners (it can also be on the race track) and in the city. It's a simplistic superbike with a quality chassis that soaks up bumps decisively and adrenaline-pumping power as soon as your right wrist hits the throttle. At the same time, it is so beautiful that the heads of passers-by will turn around behind you in the city. Girls, of course!
