Infiniti models are on sale at a significant discount ahead of the exit from Australia

The Infiniti QX80 large luxury SUV can now be had for less than $100,000.

Infiniti's Brighton dealership in Victoria has slashed model prices by as much as 44% to move existing inventory ahead of the Japanese luxury brand's exit from the local market by the end of next year.

At this stage, the self-proclaimed "fire sale" is only available to Victoria shoppers, with the other four outlets in Castle Hill, NSW; Doncaster, Victoria; Perth, Western Australia; and South West Sydney, New South Wales have not yet submitted their Infiniti share move initiatives.

According to the dealership's website, the base QX70 GT midsize SUV gets the biggest discount, with its 44% discount dropping its price from $84,273 to $46,888 excluding metallic paint.

Powered by a 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine, the QX70 sends 235kW/360Nm to all four wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Standard equipment includes an 11-speaker audio system, 20-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, a rearview camera, a DVD player, an electronically adjustable driver's seat, automatic headlights, partial leather benches, and a power liftgate.

As for the Nissan Patrol-based QX80 large luxury SUV, the price is now set at $94,888 including metallic paint, down 24% from its $124,860 price, according to the Infiniti Brighton website.

At the heart of the QX80 is a 294-liter V560 petrol engine with 5.6kW/8Nm, which drives a permanent all-wheel drive system through a seven-speed automatic transmission.

LED headlights and taillights, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, 22-inch wheels, dual 8.0-inch rear windows, 8.0-inch infotainment system, off-road models, Bose audio system, heated steering wheel, leather interior and towbar are standard complete set.

Infiniti Brighton is now selling the Q50 Pure sedan and Q60 Pure coupe for $36,888 and $44,888 respectively, which means a price cut of 39 and 36 percent each.

Both models are powered by a 155kW/350Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine that drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission.

18-inch wheels, LED headlights, power folding mirrors, a dual-screen infotainment system, and chrome exterior trim are standard, though metallic paint costs extra.

The dealership also has the Infiniti Q30 and QX30 twins, though the smaller SUVs are not in the "sale" or receiving significant discounts.

Infiniti Australia is committed to continuing to support new and existing customers and will fulfill warranty and service obligations, likely through Nissan's dealer network.

The Infiniti Brighton offer is valid until the end of November.
