The new driving mode loosely means "cheetah mode".

A few days ago, the Californian manufacturer unveiled the Cheetah Stance, a new driving mode that loosely translates to "cheetah mode" that will allow owners of Model S and Model X equipped with it to benefit from meteor acceleration.

The mode integrated into the latest update offered by Tesla works in accordance with the adaptive suspension (Smart Adaptive Air Suspension) of the models under consideration and somehow complements the existing Ludicrous mode.

The action of the cheetah stance is very simple: it simulates the position of a predator preparing to jump in order to attack its prey: the front of the car is lower and the rear remains in a high position. When the driver presses the accelerator pedal, the suspension follows the movement and provides more efficient acceleration.

Equipped in this way, the Tesla Model S Performance will be able to accelerate from 0 to 96 km / h in just 2,3 seconds, according to official figures offered by the American manufacturer, or the tenth best achievement. A presentation confirming the Tesla Model S's position as one of the fastest road cars approved in the world in terms of acceleration.

Pending a hypothetical official video from a Palo Alto manufacturer, Youtuber DragTimes has already filmed the Model S in action with the new Cheetah stance mode, apparently very effective.
