“The power has been reduced. Front engine temporarily disabled ”on Model 3? Reset your settings, get out and get in your car. Seriously

A bug in Tesla Model 3 with all-wheel drive and a solution straight from jokes about IT specialists. When the turtle icon and the words “Power is reduced. The front motor is temporarily disabled ”, completely restart the system, exit and enter the car. Should help.

Strange error and even stranger explanation

Limited power error. The front engine is temporarily off" [editor's translation: www.elektrowoz.pl] rarely appears in the Tesla Model 3 and Y when Smart Summon was previously used (vehicle recall). The error is not eliminated by a simple restart of the computer, which can cause reasonable fears - turning off the engine, even "temporary", is not good.

> "Rear engine off", "Car stalled" - these are the adventures of our Reader and the story of two Model 3 engines.

The solution is to switch the car to park -> drive (P -> D) or open and close the door so that the computer understands that driving is flesh and blood.

If none of these options help, the vehicle must be completely restarted. To do this, you need to restart the car computer by pressing both rollers on the steering wheel, and after switching on, leave the cab and enter it. If that didn't work, we still have the last tool left to disconnect the 12V battery for a few minutes.

If the error persists, contact Tesla Technical Support.
