It is sold in two versions: roaming has a comfortable fit and elegant appearance; there float it is more sporty, makes the body move a little further forward and is less comfortable (but more beautiful in our opinion).

The first is proposed 9.890 euro, the second - 10.190. Both have 90 HP, 55 °, V-twin and equipped traction control system e standard anti-theft device.

Let's see how they behave on the road.

roaming

The Roamer variant is more classic and elegant. He is the heir to the historic Nevada and is characterized by black 19 "front and 16" rear wheels, chrome details and saddle with contrasting stitching. Available in three colors: white, yellow and red.

float

He's sportier and meaner. It has lower and smaller handlebars and mounting both 16-inch wheels, with a large front tire (130 / 90-150 / 80 versus 100 / 90-150 / 80 for Roamer).

The saddle is softer and less high off the ground (780mm, 5mm less than the Roamer). There are two colors, both opaque: black or gray, with yellow or red details.

How are they

La Moto Guzzi V9 this is a light bike, able to satisfy the experienced rider without frightening the beginner who wants to take their first steps in custom.

And, like any self-respecting custom, the engine vibrates and makes itself felt. However, on the march he turns out to be obedient and manageable.... Basically it is nudging medium-low revs and this guarantees a fairly low fuel consumption: we drove a lot of mixed km, and on average we drove about 22 km / l; so with a little attention you can do more.

The power is correct, you don't feel the need for more HP. Excellent gearbox and clutchsoft and well done. The V9 rides with pleasure in any situation. Braking is also powerful and well controlled.

Differences

La Roomer is more natural in position and in the dynamics of movement. It is also more user-friendly and versatile. However, Bobber, despite the fact that hybrid position which can cause contact between legs and large cylinders (a problem that affects the tallest ones), stands out for its style and personality.

They require different approaches, but they still give the same driving experience. Which to choose? It's a matter of taste and intended use ...
