Mustang Mach-E: 119 km in 10 minutes

It will be part of the Ford Europe catalog until the end of 2021 and will cost from 48 euros.

A manufacturer with a blue oval has officially announced new mileage data for its 100% electric Mustang Mach-E model and, in fact, confirmed that its RWD model with the most powerful battery can travel an average of 119 km after charging for about 10 minutes on the Network IONITY terminal (150 kW).

The American manufacturer actually conducted new tests in real conditions, which allowed him to achieve an improvement in vehicle mileage by 30% (26 km) compared with the indicators previously proposed in computer simulation. This improvement is valid for a crossover equipped with a 98,7 kWh battery.

During his presentation, Ford noted that the MWT MAG-E RWD equipped with this battery can offer 93 km of autonomy with a 10-minute charge; however, now it looks as if he will be able to drive 119 km thanks to this ten-minute charge. In turn, the AWD version (all-wheel drive) will have a range of 107 km under the same charging conditions, and 45 minutes of charging will be enough to guarantee 80% of the maximum charge for these cars.

Autonomous mileage of cars equipped with a standard battery of 75,7 kWh will be about 91 km with 10 minutes of charging for all-wheel drive and 85 km for all-wheel drive. In both cases, 38 minutes of charging will be enough to charge from 10% to 80% of the maximum mileage of cars.

It is known that the goal of Ford is to cross the Mustang Mach-E crossover for 600 km (in the WLTP cycle) in its version with an increased battery, which today makes up 85% of pre-orders of the model.

The Mustang Mach-E SUV, one of the 18 electrified models to be available in the Ford of Europe catalog by the end of 2021, is offered for 48 euros for the standard version.
