We drove: Beta Enduro 2017

The 2017 Enduro motorcycle collection consists of seven motorcycles: the two-stroke RR 250 and RR 300 and the four-stroke RR 350, RR 390, RR 430 and RR 490 4T, especially the Xtrainer with a 300 2T engine for beginners or the most extreme. horsemen.

The bikes are compact, beautifully built, with no protrusions to damage while riding, except for the overly open tube in the 2T models. The frame is well protected from the side as well as from the bottom. Protective and side plastic panels are positioned high so as not to interfere with driving, open access to the engine without disassembly and at the same time do their job by directing air through the radiators. They were equipped with front and rear suspension from the German manufacturer Sachs, lighter and stiffer fork crosspieces, new graphics, silver wheels with black spokes and a new speedometer.

We tested it on a forest path full of large rocks, roots and water-washed slopes. I started with the weakest one, the RR 350, which is very soft, responsive and with a slight lack of torque at low revs. The engine is responsive, gives a pleasant power, I was a little confused by the instant reaction to the addition of gas, but still you quickly get used to it. The brakes did their job satisfactorily, but I found that I would have to readjust the suspension for my 100lbs as it was set to 70lbs, so for serious speed, totally too soft for my weight. I then switched to the most powerful one, the RR 480. The engine doesn't run out of steam, the torque is excellent, and the engine shifts easily from turn to turn. He tries to be a little nervous, but I attribute this to the suspension, which was incorrectly prepared for me on all models. The middle category, that is, enduro 2, which includes engines from 250 to 450 cubic centimeters, is represented by 350, 390 and 430 rubles. On Beta, this offer is the richest. Last year's completely redesigned 430 engine is significantly less aggressive than the 480 engine, but also less fatiguing after fast and tough rides. For serious competition, I would probably prefer to choose this one. There is enough power and torque, braking is good, and most importantly, lightness in the hands. This is a very tireless and fast bike.

Two-stroke engines are not really my choice, dashiravo, all enduro extreme lovers drive these engines. The driving style is, of course, different, since the power supply is not as constant as that of the four-stroke. I have ridden both and I have to say that the lightness and agility is significantly better than the 4T models, they just need to be driven with a larger throttle; The torque in the lower range on the RR 250 is not enough for a smooth ride, while on the RR 300 it is different. You really need to drive with constant throttle because when fully open they go crazy (300 is significantly more than 250) and get extremely fast. The brakes are quite effective and do their job successfully, although the RR 250 and RR 300 do not brake with the engine. Oil injection introduced

This is a great idea last year and you don't have to think about whether you added oil to gasoline at home or not. You just need to make sure that there is always oil in the container. Fuel injection for two-stroke engines for Beto is not planned yet, they say, the current design meets all the requirements. But the time will come for this too.
